Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center's Youth Employment Program: We assist youth ages 16 – 24 with private tutoring sessions, school assistance, employment assistance and provide paid work experience. Additional details of the services and work experience that we can provide the youth enrolled in the program are available here. We also provide additional services to youth with an IEP, High School Drops Outs, Homeless Youth, Youth on Probation and Current/Emancipated Foster youth. Click here for more information.
PEP Classes Offered by Human Options in Spanish for July and August: The P.E.P. program is an effort to educate and provide support to victims of domestic violence with the overall goal of breaking the cycle of violence. SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union Summer Work Program: SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is filling positions for a paid summer work program. Participants much be 18 years of age to apply. These roles will work in a branch as a Member Service Representative I. These positions will work 25 hours/week and the program assignment will run approximately 90 days. All applicants must be available to work a fully flexible schedule Monday-Saturday during branch hours for the full months of June to August. Webinar: Homeless Services 101- What Reentry Service Providers Need to Know: The National Reentry Resource Center is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, July 22nd 11-12:30 PT. Accessing stable, affordable housing is vital to successful reentry. Individuals experiencing homelessness are more likely to be arrested than those who are stably housed, and people with criminal records are more likely to become homeless than those without. Financial Fitness Workshops: Consumer Credit Counseling Service Of Orange County is launching a series of financial fitness workshops especially designed for our veterans called "Hands on Banking for the Military." Sponsored and developed by Wells Fargo, these workshops cover several online modules that will be facilitated by our Certified Credit Counselor, Barbara Anderson.
